Pick & Pack Associate

We’re looking for a dependable, seasonal picker and packer to measure individual size servings of ingredients, and then pack and ship them to our customers. The position is located at our new commercial kitchen and fulfillement center in Coppertop Business Park on Bainbridge Island. The ideal candidate has a great attitude, a willingness to learn and take direction, and is not afraid of a physical job.

This position reports to the Kitchen Production Manager. The job will be 40 hours per week for the next 3-6 months.

Responsibilities:

 Measure out dry goods and oils and liquids into individual size portions.

 Correctly place the specified quantity of items into boxes.

 Print and attach shipping labels.

 Maintain consistent food, health and safety procedures, and a clean and sanitary area at all times. Must wear a face mask at all times.

 Meet the average daily output requirements.

 Must be able to work weekdays and some weekend days.

 Must be dependable and show up for scheduled shift on time.

Minimum Qualifications:

 A high school diploma or current high school student at least 16 years old

 The ability to lift at least 35lbs.

 The ability to stand for long periods of time while performing tasks that require hand and eye coordination.

 The ability to follow printed instructions on quantity and placement of items.

 Must hold a current Food Handler’s Permit or be willing to get one with a two-hour training prior to beginning employement.
